Résumé / Abstract

This paper presents information on ran-off-the-road accidents on medians. We give the main results of the study under progress to investigate the advisability of modifying safety equipment. The aim of this change would be to restraint heavy trucks. First result's show that the most important problem is not that of truck crossover but car rebounds. Installing a concrete barrier instead of the metallic car barrier would not seem to be advisable.
