Résumé / Abstract
The purpose of Deliverable 5.1 is to describe the general Human Machine Interaction (HMI) concept of SAFEWAY2SCHOOL. The concept is composed of a set of HMI devices with interfaces to the different users of the system. It defines the product idea, use cases, user needs and high level objectives for each device. In order to achieve an accepted and usable HMI for all SAFEWAY2SCHOOL devices and interfaces the deliverable provides generic HMI guidelines and requirements for HMI design that can be applied to the wide range of planned HMI in SAFEWAY2SCHOOL. Deliverable 5.1 also provides standards for a common user centred and structured development and testing procedure. This process, based on the V-Model and ISO 13407 design cycle, allows structuring the work to be done in a subset of tasks ranging from definition of High Level Objectives, User Needs, Use Cases and Requirements over an iterative design process and the verification, validation and evaluation of the HMI device and interface. This HMI concept is composed of the following HMI devices with interfaces to the different users: The Driver Support System for the school bus drivers ; The Vulnerable Road User Unit for children of all age ; The Vulnerable Road User Application for Mobile Phone for children above 12 years ; The Parents Application for Mobile Phone for parents ; The Bus Stop Inventory Tool for parents and municipality ; The Intelligent Bus Stop for children, traffic and bus drivers ; The School Bus Sign for children and traffic ; The In Car Warning for traffic. ; RAPPORT DE CONTRAT
