This chapter presents the approach adopted in the VIVRE2 project (Industrial Vehicles and Vulnerable Road Users), for the design of driving aid systems: from the specification of assistance strategies and the human-computer interfaces (HMIs), based on contextual analyses; to the implementation of technical solutions and their evaluation on a dynamic truck simulator.
