Résumé / Abstract
This paper proposes the use of orthogonal functions and bipolar PPM coding for wireless communication systems. This study concentrates on the multi user UWB communication using orthogonal waveforms especially Gegenbauer functions and the bipolar PPM. So we will compare between synchronous and asynchronous UWB communication system. A new modulation called Bipolar PPM pulse position modulation is proposed. This modulation is used in order to enhance the data rate with the same quality of the transmission. We will study the performances of this modulation technique in multiuser environment in synchronous and asynchronous cases. We will compute the of jitter effect for BER (Bit Error Rate). This studies reports theoretical and simulation performance evaluation in the case of two users.
