Résumé / Abstract
Elderly people represent a large part of drivers' population and their proportion regularly increases in most occidental countries. It is well known that the majority of older adults regularly use several medications, in particular due to an increase of insomnia with age, but also due to an increase of pain (Pandi-Perumal et al. 2002. Paradoxically, most of experimental studies on drugs effects are conducted on healthy young subjects. Zolpidem is one of the most prescribed hypnotic in numerous countries and the antalgics are often prescribed drugs in France, the combination of these drugs occurs frequently with age. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of the combination of zolpidem taken at bedtime and codoliprane taken at awakening in aged subjects
