Résumé / Abstract
This paper presents the extension of our previous work in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The previous work employed a single sensor (radar) and Multiple Target Tracking (MTT) techniques to avoid frontal collisions of the equipped vehicle. In the current work, we are using several sensors around the host vehicle to protect it from all side. The introduction of multiple sensors motivated us to upgrade our previous MTT system to allow for sensor fusion. The key ideas and concepts of the ongoing work are presented here and we expect initial results soon.
