Résumé / Abstract

This session is a privileged opportunity to compare the evolution of mobility in European towns. As part of this process, this contribution presents the French situation. First, it describes the general development of mobility in France. Then more detailed presentations of the main towns in France will be given, insisting first on how the data were gathered and then on the general evolution, ending with a more precise analysis of the determining factors behind these developments.
