Résumé / Abstract
In a tunnel, it is important to have a continuous and comprehensive vision of vehicles and traffic. Pro-SiVIC~ , a software platform for virtual prototyping, testing and validation, allows in a simple way an assistance for the positioning of cameras to improve safety - i.e.: avoid masking effects due to an accident, adjust cameras to see the emergency exits, manage congestions and traffic jams. By tuning several parameters like the position, resolution, depth of field, noise, distortion... of the camera it becomes possible to reproduce the physical behaviour of a real camera. Moreover, the coupling of the camera output to detection systems helps to assess robustness of i.e. incident detection algorithms. simulation, traffic, sensors, cameras, tunnel, prototyping, decision support, positioning, testing, validation.
