Résumé / Abstract

This document describes the three case studies to be analysed within the ROSA (Rail Optimisation Safety Analysis) WP3 framework and presents the economic results. After a short presentation of the general framework, each case studies are the subject of a CBA to some degree of completeness. The most complete CBA concerns the LC case study because of the fact that there are more accidents at LCs than in tunnels - so more food for thought - and that the database are more workable compared to SPADs. Indeed, it is very difficult to get detailed data before the introduction of the KVB. Finally, each CBA ends with the selection of the best safety option according to the three selection criteria: the Net Present Value, the Internal Rate of Return and the Benefit to Cost Ratio., RAPPORT DE CONTRAT
