Résumé / Abstract
This paper presents a synthesis of the experimental process and results performed on a 30kW pilot PEMFC stack. The tests have been realized at the FC testing platform (FCLAB) in Belfort. The fuel cell (FC) stack is a prototype composed of 90 cells fed by hydrogen and compressed air. The tests are performed in the framework of the SPACT-80 research project, financed by the French Ministry of research, which concerns the study, the realization and the testing of an 80kW PEMFC generator for transportation (application on hybrid railway platform and terrestrial military engine). The stack under test can be considered as the "first stage" and first power level of the full scale FC generator. Tests have been performed under load current dynamics computed from simplified mission profiles named "short cycle" and "long cycle". Results are presented and discussed.
