Résumé / Abstract
INRETS-MA (Department of Accident Mechanism Analysis) developed a laboratory vehicle for vehicle dynamic studies and embedded dynamic model validation. This concept is very efficient to provide knowledge on what could be done in the future for embedded sensors and models aimed at driving aid device improvement. After a presentation of the laboratory vehicle, the paper will focus on original investigations for the measurement of speed, yaw velocity, sideslip angles, trajectory and roll angle. Finally, a quite ambitious application developed on this laboratory, the Itinerary Rupture Diagnosis, which determines vehicle limits in real time, is presented.
