Résumé / Abstract
In this paper, we will present main provisions concerning the safety regulatory scheme comprising rules and actors such as Railway Undertaking (RU), Infrastructure Manager (IM), Safety authority (SA), Suppliers or Master of work. This section describes key actors in the processes as defined in the Safety Directive 91/440/EEC and 2001/14/EC. Then, we will analyse 5 different types of cross acceptance scenarios for Rolling Stock, which have to be catered for a Member State; Scenarios for rolling stock that could be applied to the acceptance of vehicles intended for international operation for e.g. new vehicles or existing vehicles required crossing different routes over Europe, etc. Rolling stock, GSM-R, cross acceptance assessment, railway system, Interoperability
