Résumé / Abstract
This paper presents an approach for developing a soil classification chart based on drilling parameters. Tentative validation by comparison with a database of these tests leads to conclude on the reliability of the chart and proposes some suggestions for its practical use. A newer and preliminary version taking into account initial stress state of the ground is also presented.
