Résumé / Abstract
This report deals with an internship done in IFSTTAR in Nantes. The topic of the study is part of the MACENA project which a French national one. The internship was devoted to the understanding of the influence of temperature on the relaxation phenomenon for a prestressing steel wire. It includes experimental investigations led for different initial loads and different temperatures, and modeling works based on a classical empirical approach. Though more work is needed on the topic, first conclusions have been formulated regarding the influence of the wire associated with the fabrication process, the influence of the initial load rate, and the influence on the temperature on prestressing steel wire relaxation behavior.
