Résumé / Abstract
The main objective of this project was to study how different traffic situations can modify driver's internal state and produce discomfort. In order to identify such modifications of the driver's internal state, an experimentation has been conducted in a driving simulator. This experimentation investigated discomfort through electrophysiological (EEG, ECG and EDA), behavioural (driving performance parameters) and subjective (questionnaires) measures, and facial expressions videos were recorded. Four different driving situations allowed to investigate what driving situation produces more discomfort when compared to others, as it was initially planned.
