Résumé / Abstract
A basic problem encountered in using models based upon consummers' attitudes of concept testing purposes is identified. A statistical methodology is presented for assessing the impact of the problem and for diagnosing its cause. Empirical tests are performed using consummers' evaluations of proposed new public transportation systems, and recommendations are extended regarding future data collection and model building in the field
