Résumé / Abstract
The necessity of a significant reduction in emissions from transport, in particular in urban centres, is addressed. Hybrid drive trains are one of the available alternatives. Various possible architectures are classified and their expected potential development analysed. Consumption and emission results at vehicle or global scale are given for one of the available architectures, the series hybrid equipped with a range extender.
