Résumé / Abstract
The electromagnetic susceptibility of digital LSI circuits is examined by emphasising coupling between incident electromagnetic fields and specific locations amongst the tracks of the printed circuit board. Experiments are carried out in a TEM cell by placing a simple digital circuit based on two NAND gates and several different configurations are studied while the circuit under test is being supplied by a pseudo-random binary sequence. The description of the semiautomatic test bench and the circuits under test is presented in this paper. Different technologies from various manufacturers have been tested and comparative results are reported. Susceptibility results as a function of the incident wave's frequency and angle are given, bringing to the fore the contribution of both electric magnetic fields.
