Hasard-based duration models have been applied in transportation research field to represent the choice or the event along the time dimension. Simulation analysis is carried out in this study to examine the efficiency of non-parametric estimation of the baseline hazard function in comparison with parametric estimation when the distribution is correctly assumed.
