Résumé / Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the simulation results of the application of the dynamic optimisation control to coordinated and integrated motorway traffic control. In particular, ramp metering and motorway-to-motorway control were implemented in the kernel of the macroscopic traffic model Metacor and tested on a large-scale motorway network in Paris. The assessment results between isolated ramp metering strategy and the optimal control are described.
