Résumé / Abstract

The study compares time series and panel data demand estimations and forecasts for public transport in the metropolitan area of Paris. The analysis is based on dynamic econometric models, so that both short - and long - run elasticity?s are estimated. Conventional approach (GMM time series model) and random-coefficients approach are tested on the same period.
