Résumé / Abstract
Drivers make their route choice under uncertainty, because they do not know everything about their future travelling conditions, but also because they do not really care about an exact optimization of their travel time. In this paper we make an analysis of the route choice process with a particular attention given on uncertainty. Existing approaches are reviewed, using probability as well as fuzzy sets theory, and finally a new approach is proposed based on some recent developments in the decision theory field using possibility theory.
