Résumé / Abstract
The paper presents the theoretical framework used at allogg AB for assessing the impacts of the dynamic speed adaptation scheme applied on the E22 highway situated in the south of Sweden. Its purpose is to provide a comprehensive review of indicators used for assessment at both the microscopic and macroscopic levels. Examples of socio-economic feasibility studies of speed management measures have yet been reported in the European literature, but to our knowledge, little work has been done to provide a unified framework that assists local traffic engineers in conducting a preliminary assessment of the impacts of dynamic speed adaptation. Our work represents an effort to compile knowledge and experience gained during road-traffic related impact assessment projects.
