Résumé / Abstract
The global C02 emissions by road transport depends of some parameters as the number of vehicles, the unit mean fuel consumption by passenger-cars, the yearly mileage. All these parameters are increasing in all the countries. This paper describes these recent evolutions in several countries and reminds the parameters which influence the fuel consumption of a vehicle. Some technological solutions are proposed to reduce strongly the fuel consumption of vehicles.
