Résumé / Abstract
THE INTRODUCTION OF LOW FLOOR BUSES, WHICH ARE AT THE SAME LEVEL THAN THE BUS STOP PLATFORM, ONTO URBAN TRANSPORT NETWORKS HAS SOLVED PARTIALLY SEVERAL PROBLEMS OF USER ACCESS. FOR A GOOD ACCESSIBILITY, IN PARTICULAR FOR PERSONS OF REDUCED MOBILITY, THE BUS MUST GET THE NEAREST POSSIBLE TO THE EDGE OF THE PLATFORM. IN ORDER TO REPEAT THIS MANOEUVRE ACCURATELY IT COULD BE MADE BY AUTOMATIC GUIDANCE TECHNIQUES DURING THE DOCKING PHASE FROM FORTY METRES UPSTREAM OF THE STOP BUS STATION. THIS PAPER PRESENTS THE REALISATION OF THE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE DIRECTION WITH A FUZZY CONTROLLER. THIS IN ORDER TO ANALYSE THE BEHAVIOUR OF A SUCH SYSTEM AND TO JUDGE THE PERTINENCE OF THE CHOICE OF THIS CONTROLLER TYPE.
