Résumé / Abstract
Most research into noise annoyance is based on correlations between scaled estimates for annoyance and noise levels expressed in laeq. However these correlations are not always reliable as the notion of annoyance is subjective - it is influenced by many factors other than noise - and scales lack precision. This paper questions whether including observed behaviour can be a more accurate - and more objective - way of evaluating annoyance and addresses the interest of evaluating global perceptions of infrastructures
