Résumé / Abstract
The implementation of in-vehicle information systems is investigated through various research programs all over the world. This paper presents an evaluation framework which is expected to be applied on a DSCR based communications system named AIDA (application to motorway information). Currently, this programme is running within a consortium involving: car manufacturers Renault and PSA, a motorway operator cofiroute and toll equipment manufacturer cs route. The objectives are to assess the system under different evaluation categories : technical, operational and socio-economic. These assessment levels are focused on : end-users, road network manager, service operator and society. The first task of this work is to validate an ergonomic evaluation procedure on a concept called mrpi (medium range pre information).
