Résumé / Abstract
An inquiry was carried out on 39 European laboratories. We obtained data concerning 661 vehicles and 15500 measurements (1 measurement corresponds to 1 vehicle, 1 cycle and 1 pollutant). We analysed those data in order to modelise the cold start excess of emission (defined as the difference between cold and hot emission, for a same cycle) for 4 pollutants (CO, CO2, HC, NOX) and the fuel consumption as a function of various parameters : technology (diesel, catalyst and conventional cars), average speed, ambient temperature and travelled distance. Data are measured during standardised and representative cycles. Using all those data, we proposed an equation describing the relation between overemission and previously quoted parameters. The obtained data were measured for passenger cars, an extension to the light duty vehicles is proposed. The final proposition of modelling the overemission is a part of emission inventory model.
