Résumé / Abstract
A software for simulating the performance and energy consumption of a series hybrid vehicle has been developed by inrets in cooperation with Renault as part of the vert (véhicule électrique routier à turbine) project. The software principle, the component modelling and the results obtained are detailed. An exemple of turbo-generator control system is studied over a prescribed cycle and a full trip. In the current state of the project, comparing the calculated values with those measured on an equivalent i.c-engine vehicle showed a slightly increased consumption for the hybrid vehicle (with constant battery charge), comparable hc and co emissions and a signifiant nox gain.
