Résumé / Abstract
This deliverable is the second part of the deliverable 8 concerning the integration of computer vision techniques for intersection control. It is focused on in-depth field trial tests with the three following objectives: to evaluate the potential benefit of the control algorithm on the chosen field trial. This evaluation will be used as a reference for the two following points. To evaluate the sensibility of the performances according to the noise that exists on the image processing measurements provided to the control algorithm. To evaluate the performance in case of loops rather than video cameras for providing the traffic measurements. The deliverable is organized into four chapters: the first chapter describes the control algorithm used during the tests. The second chapter focuses on the field trial description and the data acquisition. The experiment and the evaluation are given in the third chapter. In the last one the results and conclusion are detailed.
