Résumé / Abstract
The aim of this study in to investigate the potential interaction between size and complexity of symbolic guidance information in relation with the processing abilities of the elderly drivers. An experimental approach has been implemented on the driving simulator of INRETS-LESCO. While driving, the subject tested was presented with a roadside sign panel showing three guidance symbols . After the car passes the road panel, a single symbol to displaye on a LCD screen on the dashboard with a delay set at 0 or 5 seconds. The driver must activate a contactor on the steering wheel as soon as he identifies that this symbol was present or not on the road panel seen previouly. The report also presents the results obtained. Mots clés libres : télématique ;simulateur ;guidage ;vieillissement ;attention ;mémoire ;vision;ergonomie., RAPPORT DE CONTRAT
