Résumé / Abstract
Two models for the forecast of road traffic emissions, developped independently and in parallel, are comparatively presented : POLLEN, developed for a national application (France) and FOREMOVE, developed for application on European Community scale. They are fundamentally similar with regard to the basic calculation schemes used for the emissions. The divergences are mainly classified into two groups : (a) in the basic statistical data of the past coupled to differences in the underlying assumptions in the development of the future scenarios and (b) in the emission factors used.
