Résumé / Abstract
Optimising the sample is very important, especially in the core of long distance travel diary, because not all people undertake long distance journeys but those who do, travel a lot. It seems then obvious to over-represent them in the sample, so when we want to undertake a survey on this subject, we have to face methodological problems, and the issue is not the same if we want to know the global amount of trips or the calibration of an origin-destination matrix. Therefore, if we want both, we have to make some compromise. The first part of this deliverable deals with sample schemes for global amount of trips. Then, we will see an agreement to estimate a total amount of trips and an improved o-d matrix evaluation. The third part deals with a method that gives optimal validation sample size., RAPPORT DE CONTRAT
